Organised by Global Adventure Challenges, Trekfest Peak District offers 13, 27 and 54-mile treks for all abilities, taking walkers through a network of beautiful footpaths, bridleways and rural scenery. Hullâ??s Freedom Festival gets underway next week, marking the anniversary of the abolition of slavery in the UK. From Friday to Sunday, the next UK City of Culture (in 2017) will transform its city streets and quiet marina into a hub of art, dance, music, workshops and entertainment for all ages.
